Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Service Administrator for the Wetherill Park site to support the Service Advisor team with day-to-day administrative tasks. This non-customer-facing role becomes customer-facing only for occasional reception relief during breaks.

The position is a full-time, on-site parental leave cover contract starting October 2026 for 12 months, with potential extension. The role focuses on workshop administration, invoicing, purchasing, and KPI-aligned work-in-progress management,

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Accounts Payable / Receivable within a service industry.
• Proven experience in fast-paced mechanical workshop service environment, handling diverse supplier accounting inquiries.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with internal stakeholders effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills, prioritizing conflicting tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of mechanical workshop service administration, including opening work orders.
• Manage mechanical workshop service invoicing, job closures, and purchasing processes including purchase orders and accounts payable/receivable.
• Accurately process labour entries and support WIP/PIP management aligned with KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal departments and Customer Service Advisors to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Balance multiple tasks and deadlines while supporting branch and corporate performance targets.
• Provide backup support for the admin team during breaks, leave, or peak workload periods.
