Job summary

Hall & Prior Aged Care Group seeks an IT support professional to join a private school in Bankstown, NSW, on-site. You’ll deliver Level 1 help desk support to staff and students, manage tickets, and work with senior engineers to resolve issues quickly while maintaining a calm, professional approach.

A current Australian driver's licence and WWC check are preferred, with opportunities to grow into Level 2/3 responsibilities.

Qualifications

Experience in a school help desk, service desk or IT support role.
Strong troubleshooting across Windows, Microsoft 365 and macOS.
Hands-on exposure to Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and endpoint support.
Excellent customer service and communication skills with calm under pressure.
Attention to detail and ability to follow process, work solo or in a team.
Current Australian driver's licence and access to own transport.
Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one; legal right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

Delivering Level 1 support across phone, email and walk-ups with a friendly, unflappable manner.
Logging, prioritising and driving tickets through to resolution, escalating when needed.
Troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, mobile devices, printers, networking and end-user apps.
Running user onboarding and offboarding from account creation to access and permissions.
Handling password resets, MFA configuration, access requests and daily account administration.
Deploying and configuring workstations, laptops and mobile devices for staff and students.
Keeping ticket notes, documentation and knowledge base articles accurate and useful.
