Youi Insurance is seeking a Home Assessor to inspect damaged homes, determine repair methods, and document findings to drive repairs forward. You will interact with customers and builders, explaining outcomes and next steps while managing schedules and reports.

The role involves on-road assessments across Mackay and surrounding areas, with opportunities to support catastrophe events in broader regions. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualificações

• Experience inspecting damaged homes and determining repair methods for progress on-site.
• Ability to scope repairs and work directly with customers and builders.
• Experience with desktop home assessing or home claims management is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect damage on site and decide repair method, documenting for progress.
• Walk through scopes with builders and keep repairs moving on timelines.
• Explain outcomes to customers face-to-face and outline next steps.
• Manage daily run sheet of inspections, scope creation, follow-ups, and documentation.
• Use online systems to complete reports.
• Travel across Mackay region and potentially to Rockhampton during catastrophes.
