Auto & General, Australia’s fastest growing insurance company, is hiring Home Assessors to assess damages, discuss repair methods with our panel of home repairers and our claims team, ensuring top customer service levels. You’ll receive ongoing training, a mobile phone, a maintained vehicle, and a tablet/laptop.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing quality building work and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of building methodology.
• Background in producing accurate scopes of works.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
• Experience in coaching and appraising builders.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with builders.
• Insurance experience preferred, but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Attend clients' properties and accurately report on building damage to insured properties.
• Provide accurate Scopes of Works for rectification on insurable events.
• Support claims by reviewing expert reports and advising on policy coverage.
• Submit reports and review SOWs in a timely manner per SLAs.
• Advise on the best method of repair for the building.
• Maintain high customer service standards and KPI adherence.
• Conduct customer satisfaction checks related to repairs.
• Coordinate and manage complex/large loss claims.
• Travel interstate for CAT events when required.
