Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Cockburn team, providing diverse caseloads across NDIS and Support at Home programs. You’ll conduct assessments, design therapy plans, and work within a large, sociable MDT in a convenient location near Gateways Shopping Centre.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist; limited registration may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• This role suits OTs with 6 months to 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design therapy plans across diverse environments including participants' homes, day centres, parks, and public settings.
• Build enduring relationships with clients and observe the long-term impact of your work.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to innovate and adapt approaches for complex cases.

We work across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications. You'll join a large MDT that's sociable, fun and very supportive!

Day-to-day you will:

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants’ homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
• Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
