Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to lead growth of OT services across the Colac region, supported by a Regional Manager. You will manage a varied caseload including developmental and acquired disabilities and develop skills in functional assessments, assistive technology prescriptions, home modifications, and general therapy.

• 3+ years post-grad experience ideal.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.
• NDIS check, Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to be an instrumental lead in growing our occupational therapy services across the Colac region, supported by an incredible Regional Manager, you'll experience a varied caseload that includes developmental and acquired disabilities across the lifespan. There will be plenty of opportunities to develop your functional capacity assessments, assistive technology prescriptions, home modification management, and general therapy skills.

Day-to-day you will:

• Conductmeaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on a case by case basis
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• Ideal role for Occupational Therapists with 3+ years of post-grad experience
