Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for our Springwood office in Queensland. You will lead and mentor clinicians while delivering high-quality OT services to NDIS participants, aged care, and community clients.

Day-to-day, you will assess, plan and implement therapy across homes, day centres and clinics, in collaboration with a broad multidisciplinary team to improve participant outcomes and team growth.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• NDIS check, Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum 5 years of post-graduate OT experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design therapy plans across homes, day centres, parks, and clinics.
• Build strong relationships with clients and observe lasting outcomes of your care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to innovate and address complex cases.

Our Springwood office is one of our larger sites, home to a multidisciplinary team of 19, including nine Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners and Exercise Physiologists. The team is wholesome, warm and down‑earth, genuinely enjoying each other's company and regularly catching up over team breakfasts and lunches. The office is modern and open‑plan, featuring well‑resourced clinic rooms and excellent on‑site parking. Conveniently located just off the motorway, it offers easy access for community visits.

Your caseload will be diverse, providing the opportunity to work across the lifespan with NDIS participants living with developmental and acquired disabilities, as well as aged care community clients accessing Support at Home funding. This is an excellent opportunity for Occupational Therapists to broaden their experience, work across a varied client base, and make a meaningful impact in the community.
