Job summary

Viking Food Solutions is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our NSW team, covering customer sites across NSW. This hands-on field service role services and repairs food processing and packaging equipment, with a focus on reliability and clear communication on-site.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, install and commission new equipment, and provide practical technical support to customers. A company vehicle and training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical experience required.
• Experience servicing, repairing or maintaining industrial machinery.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Viking Food Solutions is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our NSW team.

This is a hands‑on field service role working with a range of food processing and packaging machinery across our customer base. We are looking for someone who is technically capable, reliable and comfortable working independently on customer sites.

The Role

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing food processing and packaging equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults
• Carrying out preventative maintenance
• Installing and commissioning new equipment
• Attending customer sites throughout NSW for breakdowns and service work
• Providing practical technical support to customers
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with our sales and service teams

About You

• Electrical and mechanical experience
• Experience servicing, repairing or maintaining industrial machinery
