Job summary

Heat and Control Pty Ltd in New South Wales is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission, service and repair advanced food processing, packaging and inspection equipment. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, train customers on proper setup and maintenance, and perform preventative maintenance with detailed reports.

You will work with a skilled team from Northmead, supporting Sydney and regional projects, with a company vehicle, laptop and phone provided.

Qualifications

• NSW Unrestricted Electrical Work License is required.
• 3–5 years electrical & mechanical troubleshooting experience is necessary.
• Experience in FMCG or industrial food manufacturing preferred.
• Field service experience is preferred but not essential.
• Hold a valid Australian driver''s license.
• Teamwork and reporting to stakeholders are important.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve a variety of electrical and mechanical issues for customers.
• Install machines, attachments, parts and equipment and ensure operation per OEM instructions.
• Conduct customer training after installation/commissioning including setup, operation and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs and generate machine condition reports.
• Validate machinery performance and provide certificates to customers.
