Job summary

Viking Food Solutions is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our NSW team, covering customer sites across NSW. This hands-on field service role services and repairs food processing and packaging equipment, with a focus on reliability and clear communication on-site.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, install and commission new equipment, and provide practical technical support to customers. A company vehicle and training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical experience required.
• Experience servicing, repairing or maintaining industrial machinery.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing food processing and packaging equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance.
• Installing and commissioning new equipment.
• Attending customer sites across NSW for breakdowns and service work.
• Providing practical technical support to customers.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Working closely with our sales and service teams.
