Blackbook Executive Pty is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team in Sydney, Australia. The role focuses on aftersales service, technical support and maintenance of equipment across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualified and able to perform maintenance.
• Experience in food, liquid or beverage manufacturing industry.
• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel interstate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on-site and via remote support.
• Provide technical assistance for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver operator training on equipment use and maintenance best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Spare Parts and Projects teams.

Our client, a leading Food and Beverage Systems Supplier are currently seeking a Field Service Technician. This role offers long-term career growth, and the opportunity to join a market leading business within Sydney, Australia.

This role is central to delivering high-quality aftersales service and technical support. You will support customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their equipment including maintenance, troubleshooting and complex overhaul of machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and respond promptly to emergency service requests to maintain optimal system performance.
• Deliver high-quality, professional service while ensuring clear and effective communication with customers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment both on-site and through remote support.
• Provide technical assistance for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Deliver basic operator training on equipment use and preventive maintenance best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Spare Parts, and Projects) by providing technical expertise and service-related insights.

About You

• Mechanical trade qualified
• Experience working within food, liquid or beverage manufacturing
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements
• High level of customer focus, professionalism, and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license with willingness and ability to travel interstate
