Job summary

HBT GmbH, a global mining equipment provider, is seeking an NSW Account Manager to oversee coalfield customer relationships and equipment performance in Australia. You will work with several internal teams to ensure high service uptime and strong aftermarket sales, including parts and overhauls.

The role requires deep product knowledge, a minimum of 5 years in customer-facing roles, and willingness to travel to customer sites across NSW. Trade or business qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer service, account management or product support.
• Deep understanding of the product and its technical specs.
• Experience with HBT Longwall Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end relationships with NSW coalfield customers.
• Monitor weekly coal production, equipment availability and performance.
• Build strong customer relationships to secure repeat business for parts and services.
• Collaborate with Product Support, Field Service, Sales and Engineering teams.
• Lead monthly on-site account meetings and present performance metrics.
• Maintain records of sales, service activity and customer interactions.
• Support aftermarket parts strategies with the Aftermarket Solutions team.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market intelligence.
