Job summary

Weir Group is seeking an Area Manager for Brand Stack Aftermarket in New South Wales with weekly travel to Orange. This role blends engineering knowledge with sales discipline to grow aftermarket performance across mining sites.

You will lead aftersales, develop market strategies, and maintain strong customer relationships while collaborating with product specialists and regional managers. Hybrid work with travel supports a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification or engineering background with pumps/mining equipment.
• 3–5 years in a similar role plus 5–7 years direct sales in industrial markets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build customer relationships.
• Proficiency with Excel, Salesforce, and SAP for reporting and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Aftersales support for all Weir equipment and Cadia site relationships.
• Develop and execute marketing and market growth strategies for aftermarket.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with up-to-date technical knowledge.
• Measure Total Ownership Costs, market share, growth targets, and opportunities.
• Conduct weekly Cadia site visits and prepare detailed call reports.
• Support product specialists with joint sales calls and trainings.
• Maintain CRM records and assist budgeting/forecasting.
