Job summary

DOUGH SI DOUGH SOURDOUGH BAKERY in Strathfieldsaye (Strathfieldsaye VIC) seeks a qualified baker with sourdough experience for a night shift. The role may include weekend work and requires manufacturing sourdough, breads, donuts, croissants and pastries. You will mix, rest, proof, mould, fry and bake while following production plans and procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a current drivers license and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Sourdough experience preferred and strong bakers’ skill set.
• Experience with mainstream breads and donuts including croissants and pastries.
• Ability to mix, rest, proof, mould, fry and bake baked goods.
• Comfort reading production plans, method sheets and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work night shift in a fast-paced bakery.
• Prepare and bake sourdough and other breads and pastries.
• Mix, rest, proof, mould, fry and bake according to recipes.
• Read and follow production plans and method sheets.
• Work autonomously and as part of a busy team.
