Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality is seeking a Night Manager for Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins. You will oversee night operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain financial accuracy while complying with brand standards.

The role also involves auditing revenue, cost control, and guiding the overnight team to deliver consistent service. You will act as the Finance & Business Support representative overnight, with a focus on security, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth and secure hotel operations during the night shift.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, handling enquiries, complaints, and requests promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
• Complete night audit processes, including revenue reporting, reconciliations, and financial accuracy checks.
• Monitor and control hotel cash, floats, credit transactions, and security of funds.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, purchasing policies, and internal financial controls.
• Maintain accurate records in the PMS and complete required reporting.
• Lead and support the overnight team, ensuring readiness, performance, and adherence to standards.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and clear communication to team members during shift operations.
• Act as key contact for emergency situations, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, WHS requirements, and hotel safety procedures.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Night Manager to join the team at Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins.

As Night Manager, you will take ownership of hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth running of the property, strong guest experience, financial accuracy, and compliance with brand and safety standards.

You will also act as the hotel’s Finance & Business Support representative overnight, playing a key role in auditing revenue, controlling costs, and maintaining operational integrity.

What We’re Looking For:

• Hospitality qualification (preferred)
• Valid RSA and full Australian working rights
• Valid Provide First Aid Certificate.
