This role requires availability for overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays, strong numerical skills, computer proficiency, and a customer-focused approach; training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Absolute availability for night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong attention to detail with basic bookkeeping or math skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Experience with hotel systems (e.g. Protel Air) is an added bonus.
• Comfortable working alone with minimal supervision.
• Previous hotel front desk, night audit, or cash-handling experience preferred, but training available.

Responsibilities

• Balance and reconcile daily shift logs, credit card transactions, and departmental revenues
• Night auditor to close out the business day in the Property Management System (Protel Air )
• Welcome check-ins and process check-outs
• Handle day or overnight guest requests with a warm, helpful attitude
• Prepare, verify, and distribute daily financial and operational reports to management
• Conduct routine security walks of the property
• Ensure all entrance points are secure
• Act as the main point of contact for any emergencies
