Job summary

InterContinental Sydney Double Bay is seeking a Night Auditor for the overnight shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, ensuring accurate end-of-day accounting and a seamless guest experience.

You will be the face of the hotel overnight, handle guest inquiries, support the Night Manager, and assist with in-room dining and guest arrivals while maintaining safety and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Night Audit role (preferred).
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the main point of contact for guests overnight, ensuring comfort, safety and satisfaction.
• Managing night operations and resolving guest queries efficiently and professionally.

Our hotels never sleep-so we’re looking for a Night Auditor to help us stay one step ahead of tomorrow.

Working the overnight shift (11:00pm to 7:00am), you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the accuracy of daily financial processes.

About the Role

As our Night Auditor, you’ll be the face of the hotel during the overnight hours - keeping operations running smoothly while creating a safe, welcoming environment for every guest.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the main point of contact for guests overnight, ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction

• Managing night operations and resolving guest queries efficiently and professionally

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Night Audit role (preferred)

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-first mindset

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• A valid Full NSW Driver Licence (essential)

• Experience with hotel systems (e.g. Opera) is highly regarded
