Job summary

Pacific Bay Resort in NSW is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations, reconcile nightly transactions, prepare daily reports and support guest service. The role involves working largely independently, with an experienced Front Office and management team providing support when needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in Night Audit or Front Office is highly regarded.
Experience with SIHOT or another hotel PMS is desirable, training can be provided.
Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Outlook.
Good numerical ability and proficiency with reconciliations and reports.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Strong guest service and communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and handle overnight situations calmly.
Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Complete the resort's nightly audit and end-of-day processes.
Reconcile accommodation, F&B, golf and other transactions.
Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports.
Check in late arrivals and process early departures.
Assist guests with overnight enquiries, requests and issues.
Monitor the property and respond appropriately to overnight security, safety and operational matters.
Complete Front Office administrative and handover tasks for the following day.
Communicate any incidents, discrepancies or outstanding matters clearly to the morning team and management.
