Job summary

Talent International is recruiting for Call or Contact Centre Operators to work in a NSW Government call centre based in Newcastle. These are full-time contract roles initially for 6 months with the view to extend, offering AU$37.50 per hour plus super.

Start date is 27/11/2026. Working hours are 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week, on a rotating roster from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality customer service by phone, email, or in person.
• Proven ability to work in a busy call centre with multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and information-recording skills.
• Willingness to start immediately and commit to a 6-month contract (with extension).

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, face-to-face, or written communications with accurate information.
• Update and maintain customer records in databases with accuracy and accessibility.
• Educate customers on their rights, requirements, and services to ensure compliance.
• Prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality standards.
• Provide a range of administrative and support services to the team.
