Job summary

Talent International is seeking multiple Call or Contact Centre Operators to join a NSW Government call centre based in Newcastle. These full-time contracts run for 6 months with a view to extension, paying $37.50 per hour plus superannuation.

Start date is 27/11/2026, with a rotating 7am–7pm roster, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Contractors will follow a 2-week rotating roster pattern, avoiding consecutive shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in customer service, preferably in a call centre.
• Eligibility to work full-time in Australia.
• Experience in a high-volume call centre is essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries from customers via telephone, face to face or written communication.
• Update and maintain records and databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Educate clients on rights, requirements and services to raise awareness and ensure compliance.
• Collect and prepare information for documentation and correspondence per quality standards.
• Provide a range of administrative and support services.
• Manage in a high-volume call centre environment with reliability and accuracy.
