You will drive a national sales strategy, manage end-to-end deals and build senior-level relationships across insurance sectors, including mutuals and captives.

Qualifications

• Credibility in the Australian Insurance market with senior executive engagement.
• Background in corporate risk management or senior client-facing insurance roles.
• Strong network across risk managers, CFOs, brokers or mutual sector executives.
• Hunter mentality: self-directed, proactive and able to build from scratch.
• Excellent communication and consultative approach that earns trust.
• Understanding of technology: cyber, data security and AI-friendly mindset.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Risk Management, Finance or Insurance.
• ANZIIF qualifications or willingness to study them.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a national business development strategy across insurance & risk tech.
• Manage full sales cycle from market mapping to contract signing.
• Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets with a strong CRM pipeline.
• Engage senior-level clients across General Insurance, Self-Insured, Captive and Corporate markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams on scoping, demos and onboarding.
• Raise profile through RMIA, ANZIIF, BCCM or UAC and speaking opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence and feed into product positioning and sales playbook.
• Report weekly to CEO and forecast using a proven sales methodology.
