Job summary

Succession Partners is seeking a National Business Development Manager for Insurance & Risk Technology. This executive role partners with the CEO to build a national new-business function, engaging CFOs, risk managers and insurance buyers rather than acting as a vendor.

You will drive a national strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and build trusted relationships across General Insurance, Self-Insured, Captive and Corporate markets while collaborating on complex enterprise proposals and

Qualifications

Credibility in the Australian Insurance market and ability to engage senior executives as peers.
Background in corporate risk management or senior client-facing insurance roles.
Strong network across risk managers, CFOs, brokers, and mutual sector executives.
Hunter mentality with self-direction and startup mindset.
Excellent communication with a consultative approach that earns trust.
Understanding of technology risks, cyber and data security, with openness to AI.

Responsibilities

Drive national new-business strategy and manage the full sales cycle.
Hit revenue targets with ARR and TCV through a strong pipeline.
Engage senior executives across General Insurance, Self-Insured, Captive, and Corporate markets.
Collaborate with National Account & Product Manager on complex proposals and onboarding.
Raise profile through RMIA, ANZIIF, BCCM and UAC speaking opportunities.
Map decision-makers and feed market intelligence into sales playbook and positioning.
Report weekly pipeline updates and monthly forecasts with structured methods.
