Job summary

Attcall Group in Sydney is seeking a National Fleet Advisor to oversee and optimize our national asset portfolio, including heavy vehicles, civil plant, and light vehicles. You will report to the National Fleet Manager and ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and readiness across states.

Based primarily in Sydney with interstate travel as needed, the role requires 3–5 years in fleet administration or advisory roles, strong NHVR knowledge, and proficiency with fleet software and telematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in fleet administration or advisory roles within transport, logistics, or civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of NHVR regulations, heavy vehicle national law, and plant maintenance requirements.
• Proficiency with modern fleet management software and telematics systems; advanced Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Asset Lifecycle Management: coordinate procurement, registration, tracking, and disposal of national fleet assets (heavy vehicles, trailers, civil plant, and light vehicles).
• Compliance & Safety: ensure fleet compliance with NHVR, CoR, state transport authorities, and safety standards.
• Vendor & Contract Management: manage relationships with suppliers, maintenance providers, and OEMs for pricing and service levels.
• Data & Telematics Analysis: use fleet software and GPS/telematics data to monitor fuel efficiency, utilization and maintenance schedules.
• Financial Oversight: monitor fleet spend, analyze total cost of ownership, identify cost-saving opportunities across states.
• Cross-Regional Support: be the primary contact for NSW, QLD and SA to resolve fleet-related challenges.
