Job summary
GHD is seeking an experienced Defence Environment Delivery Leader to provide technical and delivery leadership across our national Defence environmental portfolio in Australia. The role requires leading a geographically dispersed team, offering specialist advice, and ensuring quality and efficient project delivery for Defence projects.
You will drive consistency across our Defence environmental services, manage risks, and apply strong commercial judgment while maintaining safety and compliance
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in environmental and/or project environments with demonstrated leadership capability and preferably Defence project experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide national leadership across Defence environmental delivery, driving consistency, efficiency, resource capability needs and quality across services and deliverables.
- Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed team, creating a connected and high-performing national environment.
- Support Defence projects with environmental and contractual advice, bringing together the right technical expertise and capability from across GHD.
- Leverage business and digital systems to strengthen project delivery, governance, financial performance, quality management and planning.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and wellbeing while applying sound commercial judgement to proactively manage project risks and opportunities.
