Job summary

Myer Geelong is seeking a Merchandise Operations Manager to lead store operations, optimise stock flow from dock to selling floor, and ensure compliance, safety and stock integrity while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will lead high-performing teams, drive process improvements, and champion Myer strategy across product categories, with rotating rosters including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume retail operations or store management.
• Background knowledge of logistics within a retail environment and dock-to-floor stock flow.
• Demonstrated people leadership of medium to large sized teams.

As the Merchandise Operations Manager at Myer Geelong, you'll play a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence across the store. From optimising merchandise flow and online fulfilment to ensuring compliance, safety and stock integrity, you'll lead high performing teams and deliver the operational foundations that support sales growth and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage merchandise logistics from dock to selling floor, ensuring efficient stock flow, safety and compliance
• Oversee in-store merchandise support and click & collect operations
• Drive a high performance, customer-centric culture focused on service and sales

About You:

• Proven experience in high-volume retail operations or store management
• Background/Knowledge of Logistics within a retail environment and dock-to-floor stock flow
• Demonstrated people leadership of medium to large sized teams
• Knowledge of OH&S practices and safety compliance
• Analytical ability to interpret data and drive decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to champion Myer strategy across diverse product categories
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently
• Strong retail, financial and business acumen

To be considered for this position you will need to be available to work across our key store trading hours. Management team members work on a rotating fortnightly rosters that include weekends and peak trade hours.
