Job summary

Myer Geelong is seeking a part-time Visual Merchandise Team Leader to guide a creative team in translating seasonal trends into engaging in-store displays. You will ensure product items on the floor are well stocked and visually compelling, coordinating with the VM Manager to execute briefs across the store.

You will blend creativity with operational discipline, lead a dynamic team, and help shape memorable customer experiences while working 36 hours per week (Mon–Fri, with occasional weekend

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Visual merchandising styling experience in a retail big box environment preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a creative VM team to translate seasonal trends into compelling displays.
• Ensure floor stock and displays are well stocked and visually inspiring.
• Coordinate unloading shipments and maintain displays.
• Drive sales by creating an oasis of visual inspiration for customers.
• Work Monday to Friday with potential weekend peak periods.

About the role:

Partnering with the Visual Merchandise Manager, your role as Team Leader will see you lead a creative team to ensure product items on the floor are well stocked to create an oasis of visual inspiration to customers.

This hands-on role blends creativity and operational discipline and you will bring your sense of personal creative style, strong VM principles, and a love of a dynamic fast-paced workplace to execute the creative brief strategy. Working alongside with your team, you will coordinate unloading shipments, maintain and stock floor displays and shelves to translate seasonal trends into inspiring visual displays. Your leadership will ensure the Geelong store consistently inspires, captivates and helps shape incredible memorable in-store experiences to our valued customers.

To be considered for this position you will need to be fully available to work Monday to Friday, and may also include occasional additional availability during some weekends and peak seasonal periods.

Your Background:

• Visual merchandising styling experience within a retail 'big box' environment, preferred
• Visual merchandise qualifications or working towards, highly regarded
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Ability to foster effective communication and collaboration with team members
• A love of a dynamic fast-paced workplace
• Strong understanding in trends and styles as well as a real passion for visual merchandising!
