Job summary

Efficient Recruitment Services Pty Ltd on behalf of Horizon International College seeks a Systems Support Officer in Melbourne to keep campus technology reliable for teaching, student administration and day-to-day operations across campuses.

You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, install and update programs, support the college websites and portals, and travel between campuses as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or closely related field.
• 1+ year of relevant systems support experience.
• Experience supporting hardware, software and networks.
• Ability to install and maintain applications in a multi-user workplace.
• Clear communication to non-technical staff and students.
• Willingness to travel between campuses and work full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Assess hardware and software needs and propose practical solutions.
• Respond to staff and student enquiries about computers, applications, logins, printers and classroom technology.
• Install, update and configure software used for student management, learning delivery, email and office work.
• Promote reliable and efficient use of college computers, networks and classroom equipment.
• Assist with setup, monitoring and upkeep of campus networks and connected devices.
• Provide on-site and remote assistance in a busy education helpdesk environment.
• Travel to other campuses when required to resolve faults or support new equipment rollouts.
