Job summary

Skillset in Dubbo is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client’s team in Dubbo. You will work on a range of fabrication and welding projects across mild steel, stainless, and aluminium, producing high-quality components from engineering drawings.

The role is permanent full-time with ongoing overtime and monthly RDOs, offering a stable, safety-focused workplace that values its people and supports skill development.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in Fabrication, Boilermaking or Welding
• Experience with MIG, TIG and Stick welding processes
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• A current Driver Licence
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work across a range of projects
• Fabricate and assemble components from technical drawings
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
• Carry out repairs, modifications and general workshop duties
• Operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment
