Job summary

Appentency Recruitment Services in Sydney's southern suburbs seeks a Level 2 Systems Administrator to join our service desk team as an escalated-issues expert. You will support a diverse client base across server, network, and cloud infrastructure, with a balance of ticket resolution and IT project work.

The role offers hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and Cisco Meraki, with opportunities for career growth within a collaborative MSP environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Level 2 or 3 Service Desk capacity or Systems Engineer role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).
• Hands on experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware).

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective Level 2 technical support for escalated issues from the service desk.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, mail flow, SharePoint permissions, and Teams configuration.
• Perform administration and troubleshooting of client server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage and support client network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco Meraki).
• Manage and monitor client backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in IT projects, including server migrations, network upgrades, and new client onboarding.
• Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation for client systems and procedures.
