Job summary

SS&A Club Albury is seeking a Motel Manager to lead reception and housekeeping for the Seaton Arms Motor Inn, overseeing bookings, room rates, occupancy and guest experiences from arrival to departure.

You will manage the RMS system, drive revenue, coordinate housekeeping, and collaborate with marketing, finance, maintenance and HR to support motel operations. The role requires independent work and ability to cover weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in motel or accommodation management.
• Confidence with RMS or similar booking software.
• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Guest-first attitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression at check-in and check-out.
• Managing bookings, room rates and availability through the RMS system.
• Driving revenue and occupancy against budgets and targets.
• Coordinating room servicing and leading housekeeping to a high standard.
• Resolving guest concerns and complaints promptly.
• Liaising with marketing, finance, maintenance and HR to support motel operations.
• Coaching, training and rostering reception and housekeeping teams.
