Job summary

SS&A Club Albury is seeking a Motel Manager to lead reception and housekeeping for the Seaton Arms Motor Inn, overseeing bookings, room rates, occupancy and guest experiences from arrival to departure.

You will manage the RMS system, drive revenue, coordinate housekeeping, and collaborate with marketing, finance, maintenance and HR to support motel operations. The role requires independent work and ability to cover weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in motel or accommodation management.
• Confidence with RMS or similar booking software.
• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Guest-first attitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression at check-in and check-out.
• Managing bookings, room rates and availability through the RMS system.
• Driving revenue and occupancy against budgets and targets.
• Coordinating room servicing and leading housekeeping to a high standard.
• Resolving guest concerns and complaints promptly.
• Liaising with marketing, finance, maintenance and HR to support motel operations.
• Coaching, training and rostering reception and housekeeping teams.

About the role

As Motel Manager, you'll be the face of the Seaton Arms Motor Inn, leading reception and housekeeping to make sure every guest has a great stay from booking through to departure. You'll manage the motel's RMS system, drive sales and occupancy, and report to our General Manager - Operations on budgets and performance.

What you'll be doing

• Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression at check-in and check-out
• Managing bookings, room rates and availability through the motel's RMS system
• Driving revenue and occupancy against budget and annual targets
• Coordinating room servicing and leading the housekeeping team to a high standard
• Promptly resolving guest concerns and complaints
• Liaising with our marketing, finance, maintenance and HR teams to support motel operations
• Coaching, training and rostering the reception and housekeeping teams

What you'll bring

• Experience in motel or accommodation management (preferred)
• Confidence with RMS or similar booking software
• A First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A professional, guest-first attitude and great attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and handle weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts
