Job summary

The Beach Motel - Hervey Bay is seeking a Front Desk Operator to join our reception team. You will check guests in and out, handle reservations, respond to phone and email inquiries, and maintain accurate front-desk records.

Candidates should be proficient in MS Office, have hospitality experience, and be reliable with strong communication and local knowledge. Training on RMS or similar software will be provided, and both full-time and casual roles are available.

Qualifications

• Essential familiarity with MS Office (Word, basic Excel, Outlook)
• Hospitality experience preferred and listed in resume
• Training on Reservation Software will be provided; RMS exposure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Checking guests in
• Checking guests out
• Checking inventory with online booking sites to ensure competitive pricing
• Answering telephone enquiries and booking reservations
• Processing online reservations with accuracy
• Replying to email inquiries from the website
• Reconciling daily cash transactions with EFTPOS
• Preparing tax invoices on departure
• Receipting customer accounts
