BrillianTalent is hiring a Broker Assistant to support a broker team with day-to-day lending activities. You will prepare and progress loan applications for residential and commercial lending, ensuring complete, accurate files for the Credit Team.

Ideal candidates bring experience in mortgage broking or loan processing, strong credit sense, and meticulous attention to detail. The role emphasizes collaboration with brokers, clients, and credit professionals in a growing mortgage business.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage broking, broker support, lending, loan processing or credit support.
• Experience across residential and commercial lending.
• Strong credit sense and understanding of lending and documentation requirements.
• Good understanding of loan application and credit assessment process.
• Attention to detail to prepare accurate and complete files.
• Confident communicating with clients to collect information.

Responsibilities

• Support brokers with residential and commercial loan applications.
• Collect, review and organise client financial information and supporting documentation.
• Identify missing information and issues before assessment using strong credit sense.
• Prepare complete and accurate application files for submission to Credit Team.
• Liaise with clients to obtain required information and outstanding documents.
• Work with brokers and Credit Team to progress applications efficiently.
• Follow up on requirements and assist with documentation queries.
• Maintain accurate client and application records throughout lending process.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the broker team.
