Our client is a growing mortgage company within the mortgage and lending industry, supporting brokers and clients across both residential and commercial lending.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Broker Assistant to provide day-to-day lending and application support to their broker team.

The Broker Assistant will work closely with brokers to prepare and progress loan applications across residential and commercial lending.

This role requires someone with strong credit sense who can understand a client's lending position, identify documentation requirements and prepare complete and accurate application files for the Credit Team to assess. The role does not require lengthy credit submissions, but strong attention to detail and an understanding of credit requirements are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support brokers with residential and commercial loan applications.
• Collect, review and organise client financial information and supporting documentation.
• Apply strong credit sense to identify missing information, inconsistencies or potential issues before assessment.
• Prepare complete and accurate application files for submission to the Credit Team.
• Liaise with clients to obtain required information and outstanding documentation.
• Work closely with brokers and the Credit Team to progress applications efficiently.
• Follow up on application requirements and assist with documentation queries.
• Maintain accurate client and application records throughout the lending process.

About You

• Strong organisation and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple applications.
