Loan Market on the Gold Coast seeks an experienced Mortgage Broker to join a fast-growing team. You will partner with the business to design and execute the Mortgage Broking strategy, serving as the in-house finance expert with a strong pipeline of warm leads to secure funding for a diverse client base.

We offer a 75% upfront and 20% trail commission structure on warm leads, with higher trail for self-generated opportunities.

The Role

As the Mortgage Broker, you will partner with the business to build out the Mortgage Broking strategy from the ground up and serve as the go-to finance expert, leveraging a strong pipeline of warm leads to secure optimal funding for a diverse client base.

We are hiring for a Commission Only position to capitalise on rapid business growth and ensure that the expanding volume of property buyers have immediate, in-house access to top-tier financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Use your Mortgage Broking expertise in designing the go-to-market strategy of the Mortgage Broking arm of the business
• Manage and successfully convert a strong pipeline of warm clients
• Act as the dedicated finance expert, guiding clients seamlessly from initial consultation, lender research and loan structuring through to settlement
• Provide empathetic, specialised mortgage advice to a diverse range of home buyers, understanding their unique relocation and funding needs
• Educate clients about the nuances of various mortgage options, empowering them to make informed financial decisions
• Structure, lodge and proactively manage high-quality loan applications to ensure timely approvals
• Deliver outstanding client service, reflecting the brand's reputation as a trusted partner in property acquisition
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate professionals, lenders and the internal team to ensure a seamless acquisition process
• Generate and nurture your own leads to supplement the provided pipeline and maximise your earning potential

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

• Experienced Broker: You are a fully accredited, established Mortgage Broker ready to hit the ground running
• A Proven Closer: You know how to take a warm lead, build immediate rapport and seamlessly guide the client through to settlement
• Exceptional Communicator: You possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently advise a diverse range of clients
• Business Development: You have a strong drive to build upon our provided leads, network effectively and generate your own loyal client base
• Team Player: You succeed when part of a team and thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused culture
• Outstanding Industry Knowledge: You possess an in-depth understanding of residential lending, credit policies and the broader Australian property market
• Qualifications: You hold a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking
• Industry Memberships: Current membership with a relevant industry body (MFAA or FBAA)
