Advance Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker for Mackay to join a growing financial powerhouse. This is a full-time, in-house role with lead-generation support and a clear path to leadership.

You will conduct client consultations, recommend loan products and educate clients on options, while building your own pipeline and leveraging relationships with Financial Advisors and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in lending as Mortgage Broker or Bank Lender.
• Certificate IV and Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking or willingness to obtain before start; company support available.

About Us

Our client offers Mortgage Broking, Financial Advice, and Investment Management. The Mortgage Broker team is currently based across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, and surrounding suburbs. They are now expanding into Mackay and seeking an experienced, full-time Mortgage Broker to join them in-house and drive growth, establishing our ongoing presence in QLD. Our client has over 100 employees across distribution and operations and is proud to be recognised as an award-winning brokerage.

The Role

As an experienced professional with a bank lending or mortgage broking background, you already know the fundamentals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting client consultations to identify financial objectives.
• Recommending suitable loan products and educating clients on their options.
• Driving business growth by building and maintaining your pipeline, fostering relationships with Financial Advisors, and engaging with industry professionals.
• Bringing energy and enthusiasm to your work while contributing to our growth journey.

You will have the support of our centralised operations team, so you won't be bogged down in paperwork. With Financial Planners already in the office, you'll benefit from lead-generation opportunities through networking events and established relationships with accountants and other industry partners. That said, success in this role still requires dedication to building and nurturing your own pipeline.

Experience / Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in a lending role either as a Mortgage Broker or Bank Lender.
• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or a willingness to obtain one before you start, we can support you)
