Job summary

Securecorp is seeking casual Monitoring Operators for our 24/7 Monitoring Centre at Mulgrave. The role requires monitoring alarms and CCTV, identifying incidents, and handling high-volume calls while liaising with police and clients.

Ideal candidates will have a current Monitoring Licence, at least 1 year in monitoring, and strong customer service or security experience. Patriot software familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Monitoring Licence.
• Experience in Monitoring minimum of 1 year.
• Experience in customer service and/or security/monitoring.
• Ability to assess potential for incidents and risk mitigation.
• Completing reports in a timely manner.
• Mature outlook to work.
• Proficient in PC skills for report writing.
• Australian Drivers Licence.
• Patriot alarm monitoring software experience is advantageous.

About the Opportunity

Securecorp is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for CASUAL Monitoring Operators to join our monitoring centre team here at Securecorp head office – Mulgrave

Our Monitoring Centre provides 24/7 security surveillance completing alarm and emergency service response to our clients.

The successful Candidate to join our Monitoring team will have at least 1 years' experience in the monitoring space.

Patriot experience is an advantage but not a necessity

Roster:

Casual Varying Hours - Successful candidates must be available for training Monday - Friday business hours for the first 3 weeks of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will have the chance to:

• Monitoring of Alarms and CCTV
• Identification of potential incidents
• Attending to high volume of outbound / inbound call
• Liaison with police & our internal stakeholders and clients
• Occasional Data Entry
• Able to work in a Team Environment

Key Selection Criteria

We’re looking for candidates who:

• MUST hold a current Monitoring Licence
• Experience in Monitoring minimum of 1 years' experience
• Experience in customer service and/or security/monitoring
• Ability to assess potential for incidents and risk mitigation
• Compiling and completing reports in a timely manner
• Mature outlook to your work
• Proficient in PC skills for report writing
• Australian Drivers Licence

Candidates with proven experience in Patriot alarm monitoring software will be highly regarded, however this is NOT essential.
