Job summary

ProQuest Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Yard / Stores Coordinator to join a busy construction and operations environment in Dandenong South. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, with a salary range of $68,250 - $78,000 + super.

You will manage stock, deliveries, equipment and site requirements, working closely with construction teams, administration and management to ensure materials and vehicles are ready when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, stores, or yard.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• A current forklift licence.
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail when managing stock and deliveries.
• The ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with construction and administration teams.
• A reliable and punctual work ethic.
• The ability to follow processes and procedures.
• A professional and friendly approach when dealing with suppliers, customers and visitors.
• A truck licence or previous plant operating experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets.
• Completing accurate stock counts and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Picking, preparing and loading materials for construction teams.
• Coordinating supplier deliveries and following up outstanding orders.
• Identifying and reporting stock quality or supply issues.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse, factory and yard.
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured and vehicles are not overloaded.
• Supporting general warehouse and yard duties as required.
• Completing safety inspections and reporting hazards, incidents and near misses.
