ProQuest Recruitment seeks a reliable Warehouse & Yard / Stores Coordinator for a busy construction environment in Dandenong South. This hands-on role manages stock, deliveries, and yard operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have forklift experience and licence, strong organisational skills, and a practical, proactive approach. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with competitive pay and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or yard.
• Experience operating forklifts and hold a current forklift licence.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with a hands-on approach.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders and paperwork.
• Perform stock counts and maintain stock levels.
• Pick, prepare and load materials for construction teams.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and follow up orders.
• Report stock quality issues and ensure safe, tidy warehouse.
• Ensure loads are secured and vehicles not overloaded.
• Carry out safety inspections and report hazards.
