Job summary

Ravenswood Gold Pty Ltd is seeking a Training Advisor to develop and deliver course material, conduct competency assessments, and coordinate document management across the site. You will work closely with operational leaders and the OHST team to drive continuous improvement through skills development and compliance, building a culture of safety across the mine.

This role requires a hands‑on approach to training delivery, competency assurance and document control within an active mining

Qualifications

• TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a mining training, assessment or operational training role.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training/safety management software.
• Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence (Manual).
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records, training matrices and compliance documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong self‑management skills with the ability to adapt to changing operational priorities.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, integrity, respect and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and management of the site's training and competency framework in accordance with the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 and Regulation 2001, as well as company policies.
• Maintain accurate training records, competencies, and qualifications within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Ensure the TNA is accurately maintained and aligns with operational area's current requirements
• Delivery of statutory and operational training, including high‑risk work licenses, and equipment operation.
• Provide training performance metrics, reports, and assurance to leadership and compliance stakeholders.
• Undertake field observations for performance of personnel operating procedures.
• Stay up‑to‑date and skilled in your operations, either independently or with a mentor/expert.
• Ensure compliance of training forecast/schedule and allocated training requirements.
• Support training of other site departments as required.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation and company policies.
