Thiess is seeking a Maintenance Trainer to join the Caval Ridge Mine team in Queensland. You will deliver training, assessments and authorisations for maintenance personnel, including high-risk activities, while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements include Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), at least two years’ Mining experience, strong IT skills with Excel, and current licences for Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space and Forklift.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is required.
• Minimum two years' experience as a Trainer Assessor within a mining environment is required.
• Strong computer literacy with sound Microsoft Office and Excel skills.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and maintain maintenance workforce competencies and compliance requirements.
• Deliver training, assessments and authorisations for maintenance personnel, including high-risk work activities such as Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP and Forklift.
• Partner with Site Training Coordinators and maintenance leaders to identify training needs, coordinate training programs and support authorisation processes.
• Assist with Workforce Authorisation Forms (WAFs) and Team Leader compliance requirements.
• Conduct tool store audits and support workshop operations as required.
• Champion a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the Maintenance function.
