Job summary

Prime Creative Media in Australia is seeking a driven Business Development Manager for our mining and resources events portfolio, plus media and digital opportunities. This fast-paced, relationship-focused sales role focuses on developing client relationships and creating new business opportunities.

You'll spend time speaking with customers, understanding their objectives, and presenting exhibition, sponsorship, and digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, meetings, referrals and industry networking.
• Present and pitch exhibition, sponsorship, media and digital opportunities to clients.
• Spend time in the field meeting customers and building industry relationships.
• Understand customer objectives, challenges and priorities through effective discovery.
• Recommend solutions that create genuine value for customers.
• Manage opportunities from initial conversation through to close.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of exhibition, sponsorship, media and digital opportunities, while achieving agreed activity and revenue targets.
• Work closely with internal editorial, events, marketing and production teams to deliver strong customer outcomes.
• Share customer feedback and market insights with the wider business.
• Take ownership of your performance, development and results.
