Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Bid & Proposal leader to support its mining sector across Australia, with a focus on Western Australia. This 12-month contract role will coordinate pursuits from early positioning through to interviews and submission, driving high-quality, compelling proposals that reflect AECOM’s brand and client needs.

Qualifications

• 8 years+ experience in bid or proposal management roles in professional services/mining.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and client communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines with strong PM capability.
• Proficiency with standard bid tools and capture plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pursuits team for the Mining Sector, driving high-quality proposals.
• Develop market understanding to craft differentiated win strategies and value propositions.
• Coordinate pursuits across full lifecycle from positioning to submission.
• Make complex content concise and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Coach teams, share lessons learned, and lift pursuit performance.
