Job summary

AECOM in Australia is seeking a senior Bid/Proposal Leader to drive the Pursuits team for the Mining Sector, across WA. This full-time, hybrid role will manage end-to-end proposals, craft differentiated win strategies, and coordinate time-bound submissions with stakeholders. You will champion clarity, editorial quality, and client-focused content.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, develop compelling proposals, and contribute to AECOM’s pursuit excellence framework across ANZ.

Qualifications

• 8 years+ experience in bid or proposal management roles, ideally in professional services or mining.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and client communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines with strong PM capability.
• Proficient with standard bid tools such as capture plans and compliance matrices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong facilitation and strategic thinking skills with ability to unite diverse perspectives.
• Ability to translate dense content into clear, visually engaging graphics for mining narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pursuits team dedicated to the Mining Sector and drive high-quality proposals.
• Develop win strategies and value propositions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate multi-pursuit activities across the full lifecycle from positioning to post-pursuit analysis.
• Elevate content clarity and editorial quality to align with brand standards and client needs.
• Coach teams and share lessons learned to improve pursuit performance.
• Shape and realise AECOM ANZ Pursuit Excellence Framework.
