Job summary

Amida Group is seeking a Mining Operations Manager to drive growth across remedial mining projects in Newcastle and the Hunter region. You will own P&L for the NSW Mining Sector, secure new clients, and lead delivery of maintenance and remedial works such as blast, paint, and concrete repair.

You will work with national leadership and the State Manager to set growth strategies, build a capable delivery team, and ensure project delivery from engagement to completion across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mining remedial projects or similar.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial accountability.
• Proven ability to grow business through new client wins.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth in NSW Mining Sector business unit.
• Identify and pursue new markets and client needs.
• Develop and maintain a delivery team for multiple projects.
• Manage pipeline of project opportunities aligned with strategy.
• Build and maintain client relationships to support opportunities.
• Coordinate with State and sector Managers for resource allocation.
• Champion bids from engagement to submission.
• Develop relationships with capable contractors.
• Provide progress reports to Management and participate in reviews.
• Forecast sales targets and drive achievement.
• Set short and long-term strategy.
