Job summary

Dynamic Diesel Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of our labour hire operations for clients across the Australian mining industry.

You will manage recruitment pipelines, mobilisation and ongoing employee management while working with our recruitment, HR and administration teams to maintain strong client relationships and drive performance across sites.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in labour hire, recruitment, mining operations or management.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian mining sector.
• Experience managing FIFO workforces and mobilisation processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing recruiters, coordinators or operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workforce operations across mining clients and projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective mining clients.
• Manage incoming labour requests and ensure vacancies are filled within required timeframes.
• Oversee recruitment pipelines, candidate screening, submissions and placements.
• Manage employee performance, attendance, retention and site-related matters.
• Work closely with clients to forecast upcoming workforce requirements.
• Ensure accurate information and activity is maintained within JobAdder and relevant client portals.
• Work with HR and management to ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
• Monitor operational KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment, mobilisation and workforce retention processes.
