Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking a Mining Operations Manager for remedial and maintenance projects in NSW. Based out of Newcastle, you will lead project delivery, develop client relationships, and drive growth in the mining remedial sector, including blast, paint, and concrete repair works.

The role requires extensive mining operations leadership, P&L oversight, and ability to secure new contracts while coordinating a delivery team across Newcastle, the Hunter Region and NSW.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mining remedial projects
• Ability to manage the financials of the NSW mining sector business unit
• Commitment to business development and pre-contract activity
• Ability to lead operational and growth strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of remedial mining projects (blast, paint, concrete repair)
• Develop a coordinated delivery team to service Newcastle, the Hunter Region and NSW
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of project opportunities aligned with the business strategy
• Lead bid management from engagement to submission and liaise with clients
• Forecast sales targets and drive achievement; set short and long-term strategy
