Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd seeks a loyal Process Control Engineer to lead the site MOSC and drive reliable automation across Granny Smith operations in Western Australia. You will coordinate changes,(upgrade) control systems and collaborate with the processing team to improve efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Control System Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with process control systems in mining is preferred.
• Knowledge of Citect, SCADA and Schneider Control Expert systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Aveva PI historian systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the site Process Control Management of change process, ensuring changes are approved, documented and tested.
• Identify, implement and manage control system upgrades to improve reliability of OT.
• Integrate the site power station for monitoring, power balance and efficiency.
• Review and optimise maintenance strategies to ensure plant reliability.
