Job summary

Granny Smith Gold Mine, operated by Gold Fields, is seeking a skilled Coordinator: Projects (Mechanical) to drive mechanical capital and sustaining projects on site in WA. You will coordinate design, execution, and implementation of mechanical components to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery across processing, underground, and surface operations.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified in mechanical fitting or boilermaking with mining project delivery experience.
• Current WHS Statutory Supervisors certificate (S26) is required.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs.
• Proven experience with mineral processing plants and mining equipment.
• Knowledge of WA mining legislation and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of mechanical capital and sustaining projects across processing, underground, and surface ops.
• Provide technical oversight of mechanical designs, installs, upgrades, and commissioning to standards.
• Manage mechanical contractors, consultants, and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and monitor project scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement activity.
• Champion safety and compliance, integrating project outcomes into operations.
