Job summary

Job description

Gold Fields Australia is seeking a Process Operator to join our processing teams across Western Australian operations.

Locations

• St Ives – Residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie
• Gruyere – FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 7/7 roster
• Granny Smith – FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 7/7 roster
• Agnew – FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 7/7 roster

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate all processing plant equipment related to crushing, grinding, gravity, leach, adsorption, elution, and tails storage facility.
• Operate the process control systems.
• Identify and diagnose items requiring preventive maintenance or repair.
• Maximise plant and equipment efficiency during production.
• Recommend and implement improvements to plant output and efficiency.
• Safely operate IT loader, bobcat, forklift, and power tools.
• Develop, maintain, and adhere to procedures to ensure timely, consistent, and efficient execution of mining plans.

About You

• Previous operating experience in a gold mineral processing environment. Applications from individuals with operating experience in other commodities will be considered.
• Sound knowledge of processing methodologies and equipment including the Citect control system.
• Strong focus on safety and a commitment to following company policies and processes.
• Computing skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Possess a valid manual driver’s licence.
